Do you want to be an influencer or build a personal Brand?
The biggest difference is what people follow you for.
People follow an influencer mainly because they enjoy their content, lifestyle, personality, or entertainment.
A personal brand is built around a specific expertise, mission, perspective, or transformation.
Influencer: "Come with me on a day in my life in Sydney."
Personal brand: "Here's how I built a content creation business in Sydney and how you can do it too."

The strongest creators today combine both. They use influencer-style content to attract attention and a personal brand to build trust and create long-term income.
