This Privacy Policy explains how ClipShrink (“the App”) handles information when you use it.
1) Summary
- ClipShrink performs video processing and compression entirely on your iPhone.
- No videos, frames, metadata, or camera roll contents are transmitted off-device.
- Mahlaba Studios does not operate any servers that receive or store your media.
2) On-Device Media Processing (No Uploads)
ClipShrink processes all selected videos locally on the user’s iPhone hardware.
- Videos NEVER leave your device.
- Video frames, audio, thumbnails, metadata, and camera roll content are never uploaded to any remote servers.
- Mahlaba Studios and any third parties cannot access your camera roll or the videos you choose in the App.
3) Permissions
ClipShrink may request permission under NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription solely to:
- Read the specific video you select for compression/optimization, and
- Save the optimized/shrunk clip back to your Photos library (gallery), if you choose to export.
ClipShrink does not read your entire photo library for any other purpose, and does not use Photos access for tracking or advertising.
4) Telemetry & Analytics
ClipShrink may include optional crash reporting and/or anonymous analytics to improve stability and performance.
