Finance managers at mid-size companies close the month across 5 workstreams — AR, AP, Bank, Payroll, and Ledger — using a mix of ERP exports, Excel sheets, and email threads. There is no single place to see what is done, what is stuck, and who owns what. Close takes 3–5 days. The CFO has no visibility until the finance manager surfaces.
CloseMate is a self-contained, browser-based month-end close tracker — no login, no setup, no backend. Built in HTML/JS in under 5 hours. It has four modules: a live close dashboard, a categorised task checklist with owner and status tracking, a reconciliation tracker with variance flags, and an issues log with escalation paths.
