Coil is a curly hair routine app for men and women. If something is not working, or you just want to ask a question, email [email protected] and a person will answer.
How do I cancel Coil Pro?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Coil, then Cancel Subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple, so this cannot be done from inside Coil. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
How do I cancel during the free trial?
The same way. Cancel at least 24 hours before the 3 day trial ends and you are not charged.
I already paid but Coil Pro is not active.
Open the paywall and tap Restore. That re-checks your Apple ID for an active subscription. If it still does not appear, email us with the Apple ID email you bought it on.
How do I delete my account and everything in it?
Profile tab, then Delete account. That removes your account, profile, check-ins, photos and products.
Where do my selfies go?
They are stored on our servers and, when you run a scan, sent to OpenAI to be read for frizz, definition and moisture. They are never shared with other users. The privacy policy has the full detail.
The hair scan gave me a reading that looks wrong.
You can adjust any reading by hand after a scan. A photo cannot see everything you can, so your correction is treated as the truth.
Do I need long hair for this to be useful?
No. Coil is built for short cuts, grow-outs and the awkward months in between.
Can I use Coil without a subscription?
You need Coil Pro for the full routine, the hair scan and product scoring. The 3 day trial lets you try all of it before paying.
