Privacy Policy
Complify is a watchOS app that displays your daily activity and watch battery level as customizable complications on your Apple Watch face. This policy explains what data the app reads and how it is handled.
1. Information We Collect
- Complify does not provide user registration or account creation, and does not collect any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or contact details.
- The app reads a limited set of Health data — steps, walking/running distance, active energy burned, exercise minutes, and standing time — through Apple's HealthKit framework, solely to display today's totals in the app and in your watch face complications.
- The app also reads your Apple Watch's current battery level directly from the device to offer it as a complication.
2. Processing of Health Data
- All Health data is read and processed entirely on your Apple Watch, using Apple's on-device HealthKit APIs. Complify has no servers, and your Health data is never transmitted off the device, over the network, or to any third party.
- Complify only requests read access to Health data — it never writes to, modifies, or shares your Health records.
- Whether you have granted or denied Health access is managed entirely by HealthKit and can be reviewed or changed at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health on your watch.
3. Data Storage and Retention
- Your chosen complication layout, color, and daily goals for each metric are stored locally in a shared app container on your device so that the Complify app and its widget extension can agree on what to display. This data never leaves your device.
- The most recently read Health and battery values are cached locally on-device so that complications can display a value quickly without repeatedly querying HealthKit. This cache is never transmitted anywhere and exists solely to support the app's own functionality.
- Complify does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking services of any kind.
4. Data Deletion
- All data described above is removed automatically when you delete the Complify app from your Apple Watch.
- You can revoke Complify's access to Health data at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health; the app will then stop reading new values.
