<aside> 💡 For all connection please ensure that you have setup the Atomic Softswitch IP address correctly. The Softswitch address is sip3.atomcomm.com. Please ensure that you use the domain name rather then an IP Address. Certain services and possible interconnect issues may occur if the domain (sip3.atomcomm.com) is NOT used.

Once you have created a Service, you will need to specify to the Atomic platform how do you intend to connect to this Service. A Service can connect to the Atomic platform in 3 ways:-

  1. SIP Endpoint (using Username/Password)
  2. SIP Outgoing Trunk
  3. SIP Incoming Trunk

SIP Endpoint

SIP Account - This is the username that is required to register for the service. This cannot be changed.

VOIP Password - Enter a secure password for the connection.

Enable SIP Account - To activate a SIP End Point, please ensure that you toggle this option to ON.

Trust CLI - The "Trust CLI" option has been implemented to avoid '403 Authentication Failed' error in cases where the CLI does not match the SIP Account. If this is disabled, and the CLI does not match the SIP Account name, the call will be rejected. Once enabled, the CLI can be different from the SIP Account and the call will not be rejected. We recommend that you turn this option ON.

Once you "Update" the settings, you can now register the SIP Endpoint to the Atomic platform and the Account is ready to be able to make and receive calls instantly.
