Edgerun Industries · Kyiv, Ukraine · Full time · Salary based on experience · Draft exemption available

Edgerun's mission is to remove civilization-level physical constraints limiting the human body. We believe a future where humans keep pushing into the unknown is far better than one where we send machines in our place. That starts on the battlefield, doubling what a soldier can carry and how far they can carry it. Read more about our mission here →

Country Director - Ukraine

As Country Director, you will run Edgerun's most important field office. You own the whole country operation: how the system holds up with customers, what is changing on the battlefield, and getting that information to the engineering team on a steady basis. Over time you will also lead our conversations with new brigades and partners, so the team can grow its own network. You should thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you adapt quickly and love to solve hard problems.

• Run all Ukraine operations: the field team, the Kyiv office, and day-to-day execution
• Own serviceability and customer satisfaction for existing and new customers as units ship
• Track battlefield trends and turn them into clear, current information for engineering
• Lead go-to-market in Ukraine: meet new brigades and partners and build our own network
• Manage field engineering and the rest of the local team
• Make fast decisions on your own and know when to escalate
• Keep the Ukraine team running autonomously, with constant updates to leadership and engineering

Basic Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience running teams or operations under pressure
• Deep understanding of the military environment in Ukraine
• Strong engineering fluency, enough to hold technical conversations with engineers
• Ability to hold sales and relationship conversations with customers and partners
