At Agreena, we are looking for a commercial athlete to bridge the gap between traditional finance and climate action. If you have a background in the carbon markets, financial markets, investment banking, management consulting, or commodity trading and are ready to apply your relentless drive to the defining challenge of our generation, this is your platform.

As part of our Commercial team, you will originate, structure, and execute wholesale trading opportunities across the carbon credit market. You will be responsible for building strategic relationships and robust distribution channels across a diverse network of counterparties, including brokerage firms, multinational corporations, and financial institutions.

How you will make an impact:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to place high-quality, Verra-verified carbon credits with trading houses, brokers, and end-buyers on your own client portfolio.
• Lead the negotiation and structuring of spot transactions, strategic partnerships, and multi-year forward off-take agreements.
• Act as a consultative partner to clients, helping them navigate VCM complexities, pricing, and compliance frameworks.
• Leverage your analytical background to track forward price curves, policy shifts, and market dynamics, translating technical data into sharp commercial pitches.

Who we are looking for:

You possess the analytical rigour of a consultant, the relationship-building skills of a banker, and the instincts of a trader. You are entrepreneurial by nature and have a deep passion for building client relationships and driving sales while delivering strong financial performance.

What you bring:

• 2–5 years of high-performance experience in Carbon Markets, Financial Markets, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Commodity Sales/Trading, or complex B2B Financial Sales.
• High adaptability and comfort in navigating the demands and shifting priorities that naturally arise from rapid scale-up growth. You do not need a playbook; you are here to help write it.
• Commercial mindset in a performance-driven culture where targets are ambitious, accountability is high, and success is measurable.
• Passionate about leveraging financial acumen to an industry that is eager to make an impact on climate.
