Cubic does not use GPS location. Location references in iOS permissions may appear because the camera module references it at the system level; no coordinates are read or stored.
1.8 Minors
Cubic is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact [email protected].
1.9 Security
We implement appropriate technical measures:

• No photo transmission over the network

• Masking of sensitive fields in session replays
No system is completely secure. In the event of loss or theft of your iPhone, your data remains on the device as long as it is locked.

1.11 Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time:

This action permanently deletes:
• Your profile;
• Your inventory;
• Your photos stored inside the app;
• Your scheduled reminders;
• Your preferences.
This action is irreversible. Uninstalling the app also deletes all local data from your iPhone.
1.12 Data Transfers Outside the EU
• Local Data: No transfer (remains on your iPhone).
• PostHog Analytics: Hosted within the European Union. No transfers to third countries for analytics, barring future infrastructure updates (you will be notified via an update to this policy).

2.4 Estimates and Service Limitations
2.4.1 Indicative Nature
Volumes (m³), box counts, and object labels generated by Cubic are indicative estimates based on:
• Industry averages;
• An automatic recognition model;
• Data entered or corrected by the user.
2.4.2 Not a Professional Quote
Cubic under no circumstances replaces:
• A professional mover's quote;
• A technical site visit;
• A certified volumetric assessment;
• A transport or insurance contract.
The Publisher does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of estimates for your actual situation.
2.4.3 Automatic Recognition
The AI model may:
• Fail to recognize certain items (e.g., coffee table, espresso machine);
• Assign an incorrect label (e.g., confuse similar items);
• Underestimate or overestimate volume.
You are encouraged to verify and correct each estimate directly on the item sheet or via manual entry.
2.5 Acceptable Use
You agree to:
• Use the Application in accordance with its intended purpose;
• Not use the Application for unlawful purposes;
• Only photograph spaces and items for which you have permission;
• Not attempt to bypass the Application's security measures;
• Not copy, decompile, disassemble, or extract the source code of the Application;
• Only share an inventory code with trusted individuals.
2.6 Intellectual Property
The Application, its design, text, graphics, logos, source code, and embedded AI model are the exclusive property of the Publisher or its licensors. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, modification, or exploitation is strictly prohibited.
Photos taken by you remain your property. The Publisher acquires no rights over your photos.
2.7 Availability and Maintenance
The Publisher strives to ensure application availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Application may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time, notably for maintenance, updates, or enhancements.
2.8 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Publisher shall not be held liable for:
• Decisions made based on estimates provided by Cubic;
• Discrepancies between estimated volume and actual volume observed on moving day;
• Disputes with movers, insurers, or third parties;
• Loss of data due to loss, theft, or damage to your iPhone;
• Indirect damages (loss of time, lost opportunities, commercial harm, etc.);
• Use of the sharing code by an unauthorized third party.
Maximum Liability: In any event, the Publisher's total liability for any claim related to the Application is limited to the amount you paid for the Application during the past 12 months ($0 / €0 if the Application is free).
2.9 Termination
You may stop using Cubic at any time by deleting the Application from your iPhone and/or deleting your data via Settings.
The Publisher may suspend or remove the Application from the App Store at any time.
2.10 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These TOS are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and following an attempt at amicable resolution via email to [email protected], French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory statutory provisions applicable to consumers in the European Union.
