By default, all emails sent out from the Atomic platform will be from [email protected]. If you would like to use your own email server, you can set this up on the Atomic portal by navigating to Profile > Portal Settings and scroll down to SMTP Setting for Email Notification.

Populate the form using the following information:
"From" Address: This field will be used by the system when it sends emails (only for @Hosted). You can use names like [email protected] or [email protected].. The name will appear in the From field of the email.
Account: Provide the email account for the SMTP server. Generally, this is the same as the From address.
Password: This is the password for the email account.
SMTP Server: This is your SMTP outgoing mail server. The system can send email messages by emulating an email client; however, it needs a mail or SMTP server to send the messages.

Please be aware that you will need to have knowledge of your email security protocols for this to work. If your settings are not correct, email notifications will not be able to be sent.

Please ensure that SMTP Authentication has been enabled for your Microsoft account. You will need to turn off SMTH AUTH protocol for your organization as well as turn on Authenticated SMTP setting on the mailbox you are trying to connect to.
