GST Invoice Pro ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Tejveer Work ("Tejveer Work"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when merchants install and use our Shopify embedded application.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to Shopify merchants who install GST Invoice Pro and to customer data processed on behalf of those merchants when generating GST-compliant tax invoices.

2. Information we collect

• Merchant account data: shop domain, shop name, plan, billing status, and OAuth tokens (encrypted at rest).
• Business profile data: GSTIN, PAN, business address, bank details, invoice numbering, tax slabs, and HSN mappings you provide in GST Settings.
• Order data: order numbers, amounts, line items, tax lines, and fulfillment/payment status synced from Shopify.
• Customer data: customer name, email, phone, billing/shipping address, and GSTIN when present on orders (as permitted by Shopify scopes).
• Generated invoices: invoice metadata and PDF files stored in Firebase Cloud Storage.
• Technical logs: request identifiers, webhook processing events, and error diagnostics (without storing Shopify session tokens in logs).

3. How we use information

• Authenticate your shop and provide the embedded application.
• Sync orders and generate GST tax invoices (CGST/SGST/IGST).
• Process bulk invoice jobs and subscription billing through Shopify.
• Respond to mandatory GDPR webhooks from Shopify (data request, customer redact, shop redact).
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

4. Shopify data handling

GST Invoice Pro accesses Shopify Admin API data only for shops that have installed the app and granted the permissions shown at install time. We do not sell merchant or customer data. Data is processed to provide invoicing features you enable. Shopify's own privacy practices apply to data within Shopify Admin.
