What I liked

Lets get balls deep straight away gents, had we conceded last minute, it would have been an entire season summed up in 1 game, Christ on him bike another absolutely excruciating experience.
- Daire Patton - What a lad, honestly I think we would have had another escape this season had we had him from the start, as well as Hakiki. If Wehrly Bros was there from the start I think we may have went a bit more down to the wire. Patsy was excellent. Enough said.
- Quirk - Great game, good season. Its not that I dont think hes good enough at RB, its just I prefer him in the midfield, an awful powerful runner and just not properly utilized out on the right. Good game for the big man though.
- Wehrly Bros - A disgraceful sending off and a fella thats been around as much as him should know better. Sure look, aside from that he was a strong addition up top, made some serious good runs and was the reason for the second goal. With an attitude adjustment I would offer him to stay on next season for sure. There is a touch of class to his game, although a streak of menace too.
- O’Kane - Credit where credits due, he has not played a whole pile this season, I would say this was the best of the bunch and took his goal well.
- Mc El Magnifico - Strong, lucky with the goal, credit to the club. If he stays, captain him next year.
- McDonagh - Solid game from him tbh, could not fault him too much. I would like him to be a bit more aggressive with his challenges although it seems a squad wide issue, a good lad and a good game.
- Do I go out on a limb and say up till the red card, it seemed whatever plan Purse had finally worked tonight? Felt they were super up until then.
- Fans coming on to the pitch to get a few photos and console the players was nice tbh

What I did NOT like
- Wehrly Bros unprofessionalism
- The inability to get it out the final third
- Inability to have control of the game when the going gets tough
- The Garavogue river invading the pitch second half
- Lack of end product. Shorrock in fairness to him made some beautys of runs but the delivery was sub par, not taking anything away from him, he was a blessing this season and I am grateful he gave us some sort of joy and hope when we got on the ball
- This was an incredibly weakened Derry side and we still could not see them out, very concerning all the same, I could not go without saying it
