Confirm the link is a supported public YouTube or Bilibili page. Login, region, age, or rights restrictions may prevent caption retrieval. You can still import a UTF-8 SRT or VTT file.
The device must support Apple SpeechAnalyzer. The first use may download an English model; keep the App in the foreground and confirm there is enough storage.
Chinese translation is a membership feature. Confirm membership and try Restore Purchases. Apple Translation may download language resources on first use. Actual device translation is unavailable in Simulator.
Allow microphone access for Dalao English in iOS Settings and make sure another app is not holding the audio session.
Open Dalao English > Settings > Membership, or manage and cancel it from Apple Account subscription settings.
