These Terms govern your download, installation, and use of Dalao English (大佬英, the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App.

1. Service

The App provides original-video playback, caption retrieval and import, sentence-by-sentence study, shadowing, recording playback, offline word lookup, saved phrases, and optional Apple device translation. Availability can vary by device, iOS version, network, media source, and installed language resources.

2. Content and acceptable use

Only import, play, or process videos, audio, captions, and links that you are authorized to use. You must follow applicable law and the terms of YouTube, Bilibili, and other content providers. Third-party videos, titles, artwork, and captions remain the property of their respective owners.

Do not use the App to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights; evade access restrictions; distribute unlawful material; or engage in unlawful activity.

3. Learning output

Automatic captions, platform captions, machine translation, dictionary definitions, and system speech may contain errors, omissions, or timing differences. They are learning aids, not professional or certified translations. Review output before relying on, publishing, or sharing it.

4. Membership and purchases

The App may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewable memberships and a one-time lifetime membership. All plans unlock Chinese translation display and Apple device translation in a course.

• Apple charges your Apple Account after purchase confirmation.
• A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Apple may charge renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Lifetime membership is a one-time purchase and does not renew automatically.
• Manage or cancel monthly and yearly subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
• The App Store purchase sheet controls the actual price, currency, tax, and available offers.
• Restore Purchases requires the Apple Account used for the original purchase.

Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies unless applicable law requires otherwise.
