On Day 3, I built the logical "brain" of the entire speed-to-lead engine by constructing Workflow 1 (New Service Request Intake) and Workflow 2 (Lead Qualification) to automate lead routing and sorting. Workflow 1 triggers the instant a service request form is submitted, automatically creating a contact, applying the lead-new tag, spawning an opportunity card in our pipeline's New Lead stage, and assigning an internal follow-up task to the office staff. Immediately following intake, Workflow 2 evaluates the lead's urgency and location: Emergency requests are tagged and escalated for an immediate dispatch alert; Standard requests are routed to a standard-priority notification path with booking instructions; and Out-of-Area leads are gracefully tagged, routed directly to the Lost / Not Qualified pipeline stage, and sent a polite auto-response. This automation solves Ferrow's biggest operational bottleneck by instantly triaging leads based on real business rules, ensuring that high-value emergency calls get immediate technician attention while standard requests get queued for booking automatically and without human error.
