🔁 Purpose. This debrief synthesizes the persona-based evaluation into prioritized design decisions. It is the bridge between what the evaluation surfaced and what changed in the final design — and why. Findings are analytical (reasoned from the Maya and Samuel personas), not measured from live participants.
Three layers: affinity clusters (patterns across the persona passes), severity assessment (how serious each issue is relative to the platform's goals), and design decisions (what changed, what was held, and the rationale). The aim is the smallest number of changes with the largest impact on both audiences.

Passes: Discovery ✓ · Research ✓ Both lenses oriented within ~90 seconds via two different entry behaviors — research passes read the positioning statement first; discovery passes went to the hero image first. Both reached the same outcome. Signal: The dual-entry homepage works for both audiences. Implication: No layout changes. Revisit secondary CTA copy only.
Passes: Discovery (2 of 3) The discovery lens paused at "Journey" — the word reads as metaphorical, leaving it unclear whether the section covers biography or something more abstract. Non-blocking, but a friction point. Signal: The label requires interpretation rather than communicating content at a glance. Implication: Consider a more literal label or a clarifying subtitle (see Decision 2).
Passes: Discovery ✓ · Research ✓ The Motifs section drew the strongest response across passes — not just task completion but genuine engagement. It is the element that most differentiates the platform from a standard artist portfolio or museum archive. Signal: A genuine design success and competitive differentiator. Implication: No structural changes. Consider raising Motifs in the nav order.
Passes: Research expanded all accordions; discovery read the short interpretation only (intended) The research lens expanded all three accordion sections; the discovery lens read the short interpretation and moved on.
