The problem

Commercial fleets and industrial sites want to electrify, but grid capacity is often the bottleneck: connection upgrades can take years, peak demand charges make fast charging expensive, and upfront capital can stall projects before they start. So electrification and on-site energy projects stay stuck in planning while diesel and grid dependency keep running.


What we build

Delta Charge designs, finances, builds, and operates battery-based energy systems and EV charging infrastructure for commercial fleets and industrial sites across Europe. We are the infrastructure layer behind fleet electrification: our integrated systems combine battery energy storage (BESS), charging hardware, medium-voltage connections, and AI-powered energy management software into a single managed loop. This lets customers deploy fast charging and on-site renewables without being limited by grid capacity, while we optimize for cost, uptime, and regulatory constraints.

Who we serve: Our core customers are commercial electric-truck fleets and industrial sites in Germany and across Europe. We also work with real estate developers and energy partners who need reliable, scalable battery infrastructure.

What we offer: We deliver end-to-end projects, including concept design, engineering, procurement, construction, financing, and long-term operations & maintenance.

Traction

Headquartered in Munich and founded in 2024 by Filip Hes, Johannes Kirnberger, and Connor Hanafee, Delta Charge is backed by the Delta Capacity Group, one of Scandinavia's leading utility-scale BESS developers and investors. We have 150+ MWh in active development and are actively growing the team across engineering, software, finance and operations to achieve our ambitious goal of deploying over 300M Euro in sustainable energy infrastructure projects across Europe.


How we work

We take every project from first plan to a live, running site, and we stay hands-on the whole way. In a typical week the team sizes battery systems and charger layouts to a site's grid connection, tunes our AI-powered energy-management with live prices and operating schedules, and gets sites energized. Because we build and operate what we design, we stay close to the hardware and the customer from the first assessment through years of operation.

We move fast and give people real autonomy. The hierarchy is flat, so everyone does meaningful work from day one, and our culture is open and low-ego: the best idea wins, and we help each other get things done.

We are an office first company: we work together on site, because building infrastructure works best in the same room.
