Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service. Application refers to DermaIQ. Company refers to DermaIQ. Country refers to United States. Device means any device that can access the Service. Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. Service refers to the Application. Service Provider means any third-party who processes data on behalf of the Company. You means the individual accessing or using the Service.

Types of Data Collected

While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information including email address and name.

Skin and Face Image Data

When you use DermaIQ's skin analysis feature, you submit a photo of your face. This image is used solely to generate your personalized skin analysis results.

Collection: Facial photos are captured in-app at your explicit direction when you initiate a scan.

Use: Your photo is transmitted to OpenAI's API to perform the AI-powered skin analysis. OpenAI processes the image in accordance with their privacy policy and data processing terms. DermaIQ does not use your facial images for any other purpose.

Third-Party Sharing: Your facial photo is shared with OpenAI solely for the purpose of performing the skin analysis. DermaIQ does not sell or share your facial images with any other third parties.

Storage: Scan photos are stored securely in your DermaIQ account on Supabase-hosted servers located in the United States.

Retention: Scan photos and associated analysis results are retained for the duration of your account. When you delete your account, all data is automatically and permanently deleted.

Use of Your Personal Data

DermaIQ uses your personal data solely to create and manage your account and to provide the skin analysis feature. Your scan photos are transmitted to OpenAI's API to generate your results, which are then displayed in the app and stored in your account.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as Your account exist. If You delete Your account, all of Your data will be deleted with it.
