Desk Reset is built around one idea: your space stays yours. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. In short: all photos and data stay on your device, and we do not run accounts, backends, cloud sync, or analytics.
Photos you capture. When you start a reset, Desk Reset requests camera access and stores the before/after photos on your device to build your reset card and archive.
Next-intention text. The single line you write after a reset is stored locally with your reset card.
Reset records. Date, duration, and reset history are stored locally on your device.
Anonymous event logs (beta only). During internal beta testing, Desk Reset may export anonymized event logs (e.g., button taps, session completion) for product debugging. These logs contain no photos and no personally identifiable information.
All local data is used solely to provide the app's features to you: displaying your archive, generating reset cards, and supporting the before/after comparison. Anonymous beta logs are used only to understand and improve the product.
Photos and data are stored only on your device (on-device storage). There is no server, no database, and no cloud copy. If you delete the app or its data, the information is removed from your device. Data at rest is protected by the standard iOS security model of your device.
Desk Reset does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. 【待开发者确认】If any third-party SDKs are integrated before release, this section will be updated with the SDK list and their data practices.
You control your data. You can view your reset archive in the app, delete individual reset cards, or delete all app data at any time from within the app or iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes locally stored data.
Desk Reset is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in a future app update. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
