DietLens ("the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.
The App can be used without sign-up or login, and does not collect account information that identifies you, such as your name or email.

This information is, as a rule, stored only on your device. The developer does not operate any server and does not store or back up your records remotely.
To analyze the calories and nutrition of your food photos, the images you capture or select are sent to Google's generative AI service (Google Generative Language API / Gemini). That processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Records other than images (weight, workouts, notes, step count, etc.) are not transmitted externally.
Step data is used only on-device to calculate calories burned and is not transmitted externally. You can revoke permission at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Motion & Fitness.
To offer the App for free, it displays Google AdMob ads in banner, interstitial (full-screen), app-open, and rewarded formats.
To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, AdMob and Google may collect and use your device's advertising identifier, device information (model, OS, etc.), approximate location based on IP address, and ad impression/interaction data. This processing is governed by Google's policies.
