DotDoIt (hereinafter referred to as the “App”) does not collect users’ personal information. Content and photos created within the App are stored only on the user’s device and are not transmitted to the developer or any external server.
The App does not require users to sign up or log in and does not collect any information that can identify users, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or location data. The developer also does not collect App usage records or device information.
The App stores the following information in the internal storage of the user’s device to provide its functionality. This information is never transmitted outside the App, and the developer cannot access it.
| Item | Storage Location | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Bucket list items (titles, categories, completion status, and completion dates) | Local App database on the device | To display the list and calculate progress |
| Completion photos | App-specific folder on the device | To display photos for completed items |
| Category names and colors | Local App database on the device | To organize items into categories |
| App settings (theme color) | Local App settings storage | To retain the user’s selected preferences |
The App uses the following device features only when users choose to add photos. All other features remain available even if these permissions are not granted.
| Permission | Required | When and Why It Is Used |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | Optional | Used to take a completion photo when the user selects “Take a Photo” after completing an item |
| Photos | Optional | Used to import one photo selected by the user when they choose “Choose from Album” after completing an item |
When selecting a photo from the album, the App uses the photo picker provided by the operating system and accesses only the photos explicitly selected by the user. The selected photo is copied to an App-specific folder for storage, and the original photo remains unchanged.
Permissions can be changed at any time in the device’s Settings app.
The App does not disclose personal information to third parties or outsource the processing of personal information. It does not use external SDKs for advertising, usage analytics, or crash reporting, and it does not transmit data over the internet.
When users tap “Privacy Policy” or “Terms of Service” on the Settings screen, the corresponding webpage opens in the in-app browser. Any information processing on those webpages is governed by the policies of the respective websites.
Information stored on the device is retained until the user deletes it or uninstalls the App.
