Role: Healthcare AI Implementation & Operations Lead - Generator Health AI

Operationalizing five AI applications for prior-authorization workflows through UAT, workflow validation, and phased deployment support.

The Situation

Enterprise AI applications demonstrated strong technical performance but required operational validation before production deployment. Without structured testing against real prior-authorization workflows, AI recommendations could create workflow misalignment, usability issues, false-positive or false-negative risk, reduced user trust, and lower adoption across hundreds of enterprise users.

The engagement focused on ensuring that AI products were not only technically functional, but operationally ready for frontline use within complex clinical and payer-driven workflows.

The Approach

I led operational validation and user acceptance testing across five enterprise AI applications supporting prior-authorization operations.

I mapped current-state workflows, defined representative testing scenarios, and evaluated AI recommendations against payer requirements, live operational processes, and real-world edge cases. In partnership with Engineering, Product, Clinical Intelligence, Strategy & Operations, and frontline operations teams, I identified workflow gaps, software defects, usability issues, false positives, false negatives, and operational exceptions before production deployment.

I translated frontline findings into prioritized product improvements, supported phased releases, validated deployment readiness, and established continuous feedback loops to align product functionality with evolving clinical and operational requirements.
