Entropy’s fee program is designed around three separate benefits:
Self Rebate
A rebate on the trading fees generated by your own account. Your Self Rebate rate increases as your account moves up through the trading tiers.
Referral Reward
A reward paid to you when a user who joined through your referral link generates trading fees.
Referred-user Benefit
An automatic fee benefit given to users who sign up and trade through someone else’s referral link.
In simple terms, when a referred user trades, both the trader and the referrer can receive benefits.
| Tier | Rolling 30-Day Volume | Self Rebate | Referral Reward | Referred-user Benefit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | Base Tier | 20% | 5% | 5% |
| Tier 2 | $1M+ | 30% | 12.5% | 12.5% |
| Tier 3 | $3M+ | 50% | 12.5% | 12.5% |
The percentages above are calculated based on Entropy’s share of the HIP-3 trading fee, rather than the trader’s total trading fee.
For a simplified example, assume a trader generates $100 in total trading fees.
Under the HIP-3 fee structure, approximately:
$50 → Hyperliquid
$50 → Entropy
Entropy’s rebate and referral percentages are then calculated against Entropy’s $50 share.
This means, for example, a 50% Self Rebate does not mean that 50% of the entire $100 fee is returned. It means that 50% of Entropy’s $50 share is rebated.
Assume a Tier 1 trader generates $100 in total trading fees.
