Ergo has no account and no server of its own. There are no analytics, no ads and no third-party code in the app. Nothing you write in Ergo is sent to us.
Your tasks, notes, photos, files and voice notes are stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings, they are also kept in your private iCloud database, which only your Apple Account can read. Sync is off until you turn it on.
Location and other metadata are removed from photos when you attach them. Voice notes are transcribed on your device. If you turn on the calendar overlay, Ergo reads your events on your device to show them beside your tasks. It never stores, logs or syncs them.
Purchases, free trials and offer codes are handled by Apple through the App Store. Ergo never sees your name, email or payment details. The app only reads, on your device, Apple's signed record of which plan you have and when it renews.
Exporting creates a file on your device. It goes nowhere unless you share it.
Ergo does not track you across apps or websites, and does not share data with anyone.
Delete the app to remove everything stored on your device. If you used iCloud sync, you can remove the synced data in Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.
If this policy changes, this page will say so, with a new date.
