- A solution for effective home rehabilitation following a knee injury

3D-rendered concept
- Targets patients exercising unsupervised while at home
- infrequent visits to clinic due to financial or time constraints
- often leads to ineffective training, loss of motivation or even injury

The first working prototype
- An interactive knee sleeve prototype
- Involved multiple rounds of user research and consultations with medical professionals
- made with two Arduino Nanos with IMUs, vibration motors, LED lightbars and a speaker
- powered by a powerbank in the pocket

Example of an ideal training situation
- gathers different kinds of data about the knee’s movements (all using custom code)
- angle of knee flexion and radial rotation
- counting repetitions
- gives directional feedback that helps the patient adjust accordingly
- helps decrease the risk of injury
- utilizes multi-sensory feedback to greatly increase accessibility
- The project is in development since then

Functionality visualization and responses to various stages of movement
