Background

In this project, I investigated how users prefer to access their transaction history within the mobile banking app. The "History" button existed in three locations: the main page, cards menu, and payments page. Analytics indicated low usage of the payments page option, prompting an evaluation of its potential removal and overall user navigation.

Research Goals

• Identify the most and least preferred location for the transaction history feature
• Analyze how users navigate to view their transaction history
• Evaluate user adaptation if the history button is removed from the payments page
• Assess whether the other two options sufficiently meet users' needs

• Unmoderated usability testing via remote platform
• Quantitative task-based analysis
