These are the rules that are always applicable for all of our events. We may have some event-specific rules that we’ll share at the start of each event, but these are a fabulous place to start to understand how our events operate here at EG.
General Rules
Abide by all Jagex and Eternal Gems rules. This includes mutual respect for all participants — of their time, of their account progression, of their abilities. We’re here for fun, after all!
Drop submissions must not be intentionally withheld for competitive advantage. Likewise, you may not hold drops until the event starts. You may not make any progress on content before the event. Please begin play when the event begins.
Fair play. No cheating, exploiting loopholes, etc. This is subject to admin discretion and violations will be punished appropriately.
There are no alts allowed except for scout alts for Wilderness content
Drop Rules
All screenshots will require the event password to be valid. The password will be revealed at the start of the event.
Make sure to have your clan tab open and the password displayed in one of three ways:
Written in the chatbox
Rename your FC to the password
Have the password written in the opened item filters tab
Please make sure that the whole client is visible. Taking a photo of your computer screen with your phone does not count as a valid screenshot.
A drop intended for submission to the event MUST appear in the chatbox, so make sure to leave it open. The KC has to show in the chatbox too when it's a boss kc. If it's an 'untradeable' or 'low value' drop, respectively ensure to turn on the 'untradeable loot notifications' option in your settings and make sure that your 'minimum item value needed for loot notification' is set very low for the drop to show in the chatbox, else we can't accept screenshots that don't clearly show the required drop.
