The cover looks and feels like fine leather, but it's paper through and through, with no animal or plastic in the making, and the colour runs all the way through so it won't fade with everyday use. Inside, 80 GSM Natural Shade paper has a soft cream tone that reduces glare and eye strain, smooth under every pen and fountain pens especially.
