Sometimes, an Empress may fail to prove her worth to a hive and ultimatley result in being banished from her hive.

Players that remove a large portion of a Empress’ hive territory without killing her may result in her being Expatriated, also known as Banished from her hive. In this scenario, she becomes an Exiled Empress and wanders the world whilst the hive develops a new Queen.

When an Empress is Exiled, a hive will be temporarily much weaker alongside the supply network being disbanded across hives.
