Extension On Off ("the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that lets users quickly enable and disable their installed Chrome extensions. This privacy policy explains what data the extension does and does not handle.

Summary: Extension On Off collects no data. Nothing is tracked, transmitted, sold, or shared. There are no servers, no analytics, and no accounts. Everything stays on your device.

1. Data Collection

Extension On Off does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or usage data. Specifically, the extension does not collect:

2. How the Extension Works

The extension operates entirely on your device using two Chrome permissions:

Management permission: Used solely to list your installed extensions and to enable or disable them when you click a toggle. This information is read locally and is never transmitted anywhere.

Storage permission: Used solely to save your preferences — your list of pinned (always-on) extensions and your theme choice (dark or light). These preferences are stored in your own Chrome sync storage (chrome.storage.sync), which is managed by your Google account and syncs only across your own devices. The developer has no access to this data.

3. Data Sharing

No data is shared with the developer or any third party, because no data ever leaves your browser.
