The academic literature has not directly recognised culture as a major factor in project success. I has one stream (below) that recognises that early warnings are a key to success, and many other streams related to psychology and the soft skills required to surface the early warnings. At this stage no one has researched how you most effectively create the environment/culture to surface bad news that may have impact on project success.
