Yes. Entries are saved on your device first, and CloudKit sync resumes when you're back online. Please don't delete the app before syncing finishes.
Sync between devices uses CloudKit, which doesn't appear as files. Only after you turn on "iCloud File Backup" will GutLog.json and 便历.md appear in the app's folder in the Files app.
The map only shows entries with coordinates. Turn on "Settings → Log Location" and allow location access before you log. Choosing a place type like Home or Work doesn't save coordinates.
No. Apple Health is optional, and your entries stay in Poopendar's own database.
Go to "Settings → Data → Backup & Restore" to export JSON, Markdown or CSV. Use a JSON backup for a full restore.
Yes. The timer keeps counting from the original start time, even when you switch apps or lock your phone. If a session passes 60 minutes without being finished, Poopendar assumes you forgot to stop it, cancels it and doesn't save it. If you did go, add an entry from the Calendar.
The system updates the timer digits; Poopendar updates the title, color and illustration. While the app is suspended in the background, these may lag and will catch up when you return. Whether Live Activities appear also depends on your device and settings.
🧻 opens the app to edit the entry, which is saved when you tap Done. 🗑️ opens the app and asks you to confirm. "Keep trying" keeps the timer going; "Nothing, really" discards the session without saving.

In "Settings → Appearance", choose System, Light or Dark.
