Memotile (“we”, “us”) operates FITDEE (the “App”). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.

Signing in is optional. All free features work without an account. In that case your records are stored only on your device and are lost if you delete the App.
We do not profile you for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
This is the question users ask most often, so we explain it separately.
Photos are stored only on your device. We do not back up photos to our servers.
Photos are transmitted temporarily for recognition. When you take a photo, it is resized and compressed, then sent to our analysis server, which uses Google’s generative AI model (Gemini) to estimate the food type and nutrition values. The transmitted image is discarded immediately after analysis and is not retained.
What gets backed up is the result, not the photo. If you sign in, only the food name and nutrition values are stored on our servers. Signing in on a new device restores your records but not your photos.
Photos on your device are automatically deleted 90 days after capture. Your records (food name, calories, nutrients) are kept beyond 90 days; a placeholder replaces the removed photo.
When you scan a barcode, no image is stored or transmitted. Only the recognised number is used to look up the product.
Recognition results are estimates and may deviate by 20% or more. You can edit the food name before saving, and you can delete saved records at any time.
