Flag is a focused chess clock app for iPhone and iPad. The App Store listing name is Chess Clock - Flag.

This policy explains what information Flag handles and how it is used.

Summary

• Flag does not require an account.
• Flag does not include ads.
• Flag does not use third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs.
• Flag does not collect your chess games, timer presets, clock settings, themes, sounds, haptics, or Live Activity state.
• Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Flag uses RevenueCat to validate and restore the optional Flag Pro purchase.

Information stored on your device

Flag stores app data locally on your device so the chess clock works as expected. This can include:

• selected clock settings,
• saved custom time controls,
• the last used saved preset,
• appearance, sound, and haptic preferences,
• app state needed to restore an active clock,
• whether the native App Store rating prompt was already requested for the current app version.

This information stays on your device. Flag does not send it to the developer.

Live Activities use Apple system features to display active clock state on supported devices. Flag does not operate a server for Live Activities.
