Privacy Policy
Flow: Timeline Calendar helps you view and manage events in a continuous, vertically scrolling calendar. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and where it is stored.
1. Information We Access
- Flow: Timeline Calendar does not require an account and does not ask for personal details such as your name, email address, or contact information.
- If you connect your system calendar, the app requests full Calendar access through Apple’s EventKit framework. This allows it to read events and calendar details on your device, and to create, edit, or delete events in calendars that allow changes.
- Events you create for storage on your device may include a title, date and time, color, location, notes, and reminder settings.
- If you set a reminder for a device-only event, the app uses Apple’s local notification system to schedule an alert on your device.
2. How Calendar Information Is Used
- Calendar information is used to display events, let you manage them, and keep changes in the app synchronized with the connected system calendars.
- Calendar access is optional. Without it, you can still use device-only events. You can review or change the app’s Calendar permission in iOS Settings at any time. If access is denied or revoked, the app cannot refresh or change system calendar events.
- Flow: Timeline Calendar does not operate its own servers and does not use advertising, tracking, or analytics services. The app does not transmit your calendar information to its own servers or third parties.
- Syncing by providers such as iCloud, Google, or Exchange, and device backups, follow your iOS and account settings.
3. Storage and Retention
- Device-only events are stored locally on your device. App preferences are stored in the app’s local settings.
- Events saved to system calendars are stored and managed by those calendars according to the account and sync settings you use with iOS.
- The app retains device-only events until you delete them or remove the app.
4. Deletion and Permission Changes
- You can delete device-only events in the app. Changes or deletions you make to system calendar events are applied to the connected calendar.
- Revoking Calendar permission prevents the app from accessing system calendars, but does not delete events already saved there.
- Deleting the app removes its locally stored files and settings according to iOS behavior. It does not remove events previously saved to a system calendar.
