Giffyo is designed to create GIFs locally on your iPhone. Your privacy is important to us, and the app has been built to work without creating an account or sending your media to the developer.
Giffyo does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information.
The app does not use:
Giffyo can access photos, videos, and Live Photos only when you select them or grant the app permission to use your photo library.
Selected media is used solely to create GIFs on your device. Your photos, videos, Live Photos, and generated GIFs are not uploaded to the developer.
If selected media is stored in iCloud rather than directly on your device, Apple’s Photos framework may download it to your device. This process is handled by Apple and is subject to Apple’s privacy practices.
Giffyo may request permission to save exported GIFs to your photo library.
GIFs saved to the in-app Collection remain stored locally within the app’s storage. GIFs saved to Photos remain in your photo library until you remove them.
Deleting Giffyo removes information stored inside the app, but it does not automatically delete GIFs previously saved to your photo library.
