On an otherwise ordinary Friday evening, eight people gathered in a pub for what they had been told was “an important event”.

Nobody seemed entirely sure what that meant.

At the front of the room stood a cheap curtain. Behind it sat an anonymous judge.

The rules were simple.

One by one, each contestant would approach the curtain and deliver their finest flirt.
