Goodbits is designed to be a private record of your days. This policy explains what stays on your device, what limited information is processed to provide purchases and support, and the choices and rights available to you.

1. Who is responsible for Goodbits?

Goodbits is operated by the person or organization identified as the Seller on the Goodbits App Store product page (the "Developer"), based in Lithuania. The Developer is the controller of personal data processed for Goodbits purchase management and support. For privacy requests, contact [email protected].

The App does not require a Goodbits account. Apple and RevenueCat also process information under their own applicable terms and privacy notices, as explained below.

2. Information handled by the App

Your journal content stays local. Goodbits stores the moods, moments, activities, durations, short notes, planned events, favorites, selected photos, and appearance and reminder preferences you choose to add on your device. Some of this information is copied to the App's local shared container so its widgets can work. The Developer does not receive or host your journal content.

Selected photos. Goodbits uses Apple's system photo picker. The App receives only the image you select, saves a local copy for the relevant day and does not browse or upload your photo library.

Local reminders. If you enable reminders, iOS processes notification permission and Goodbits schedules notifications on your device. The App does not use remote push notifications for your journal content. You can turn reminders off in Goodbits or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings.

Device authentication. If you enable the optional app lock, authentication is handled by iOS. Goodbits receives a success or failure result, not your face, fingerprint or biometric template. Depending on your device settings, iOS may offer a device passcode as an alternative.

Purchase information. Goodbits uses Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat to make Goodbits+ available, validate and restore purchases, check entitlement status, detect purchase problems and understand purchase performance. RevenueCat generates an anonymous App User ID and may process product identifiers, purchase and subscription history and status, transaction identifiers, storefront or country, currency, app and platform information, and information needed to operate its service. The SDK can communicate with RevenueCat when the App starts, even if you do not buy Goodbits+. The Developer can see purchase-related records in RevenueCat's dashboard. We do not send your moods, notes, planned events or selected photos to RevenueCat. We do not receive your payment-card number from Apple.

Messages to us. If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and the information you include so we can answer and follow up. Please do not send sensitive journal content unless it is necessary to explain your request.

Goodbits has no advertising SDK, public profile, social feed or in-app messaging feature. We do not sell personal data or use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

3. Why we process information and our legal bases

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies:

Photos, reminders and device authentication are optional choices you control through the App and iOS. You can stop using them at any time.
