Itinerary

Arrive in Kathmandu to explore the beautiful city before a flight to Lukla, where we take to the trails and run for 11 days amidst the highest mountains in the world. We’ll cross passes, share masala chai and good conversations in the tea houses with locals & traveler’s. We’ll get off the major tourist trail & view Everest from some rarer, magnificent viewpoints before flying back to celebrate in Kathmandu.

November Dates:

Day 1 — Saturday, 7 November | Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

Arrive in Kathmandu, meet the team and settle into the city.

Day 2 — Sunday, 8 November | Kathmandu — Preparation Day

Explore Kathmandu, make final preparations and rest before heading into the mountains.

Day 3 — Monday, 9 November | Fly to Lukla — Phakding or Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)

Fly to Lukla and begin the journey into the Khumbu. Depending on conditions and how the group is feeling, run towards Phakding or continue to Namche Bazaar.

Distance/elevation: approximately 18 km / 1,600 m ascent if continuing to Namche.

Day 4 — Tuesday, 10 November | Acclimatisation in Namche Bazaar

A local run or hike to explore the surrounding trails and support acclimatisation, with a visit to Sagarmatha Next. First views of Everest & Ama Dablam.

High point: approximately 3,962 m.

Day 5 — Wednesday, 11 November | Acclimatisation — Everest Views

A relaxed run or hike towards Thame.

Day 6 — Thursday, 12 November | Namche Bazaar to Pangboche (3,860 m)

Follow the trail deeper into the Khumbu, with a bakery stop in Tengboche before continuing to Pangboche.

Distance/elevation: approximately 14 km / 1,200 m ascent.

Day 7 — Friday, 13 November | Acclimatisation — Ama Dablam Base Camp
