Now the next step begins from launching of the Apache Tomcat server inside the Windows EC2 Instance.

Step 1: Inside the windows server go to the edge browser and login with your credentials such as email and password and after login you can see your edge browser with your account details.

Step 2: Search for “Oracle jdk download” in your search bar since java is necessary for tomcat because it hosts the java web applications.

Click on the second link i.e “Download JDK17 for Microsoft Windows” and then this page appears.

Step 3: Click on the 1st link which takes you to the different versions of the jdk page, click on windows option and you must select the .exe version because it is an executable file format and all the installations are run automatically.
