In this step, choose the operating system for your EC2 instance. Under the Application and OS Images (AMI) section, search for Ubuntu and select the latest Ubuntu Server LTS version

In this step, select the instance type based on your requirements. For basic projects and practice, you can choose t3.micro which is eligible for the AWS Free Tier.

The instance type determines the CPU, memory, and overall performance of your server. After selecting the appropriate instance type, click on Next to continue with the configuration.
In this step, create or select an existing key pair to securely connect to your EC2 instance using SSH. If you do not have a key pair, create a new one and download the .pem file. Keep it safe, as it is required to access your server.

I have selected my key pair as “srisaketh” which was already created.
Next, configure the security group settings.
