Helping Jonathan

I’m Jonathan. I’m personally cooking and handing out free meals to people experiencing homelessness and newly arrived refugees in Austin, TX.

I’m asking for personal gifts of support — money given directly to me to cover groceries, fuel, and supplies.

This is not a registered charity. No tax deduction is available. Nothing is offered in return.

What I need

All funds go strictly to the Warmer, Safety Gear, and Consumables.

Item Estimated Cost Why It's Critical
Commercial Pizza Warmer $2,800 – $3,500 The Core. Keeps food hot inside the building while we serve. (No transport needed).
Pop-Up Safety & Weather Kit $350 Permits, gloves, first aid, handwashing station, AND a large tent (for rare rain/wind cases when serving outside).
Serving Gear $150 Napkins, cups, serving tongs, signs (for the serving area).
First Event Ingredients $250 Dough, cheese, sauce, boxes.
TOTAL ASK ~$4,250 100% of funds go to this list.

📝 The "Zero-Drive" Promise to Donors

"We are not asking for a truck, a building, a freezer, an oven, or any transport.

Here is our simple, efficient model:

  1. Cook: We rent a commercial kitchen (which already has ovens and freezers) for 4 hours.

  2. Hold: We cook the hot pizza inside the building held in our Commercial Warmer.

  3. Serve: We serve directly from the warmer at the same location (or right next door).

We do not drive the food. We do not deliver.

The ONLY equipment we need to buy is the Warmer and a large tent for weather protection.

Because we don't need a truck, a delivery fleet, or any transport gear, 100% of your money goes to the Warmer, the Tent, and the Food."
