About Odd Giraffe

At Odd Giraffe, we believe in the enduring value of beautiful physical things. Since the business was founded in 2019, we've been creating thoughtfully designed products for writing, creativity, memories and everyday life.

We started as a planner and notebook brand and have since evolved into a personalised stationery brand spanning journals, planners, notebooks and other paper products. More recently, we've expanded into photobooks, and we're now continuing to grow into new products, categories and creative possibilities.

While stationery and paper remain at the heart of what we do, we're building a broader world around the things people write, collect, remember and keep.

The Role

At Odd Giraffe, our Creative Strategist, Paid Performance is responsible for building the creative engine behind our paid growth.

This is a role at the intersection of creative thinking, customer understanding and performance marketing. You'll be responsible for understanding what makes people stop, watch, engage and ultimately buy, and turning those insights into creative concepts that drive results.

You'll work closely with our performance, content, design and creator teams to develop a continuous pipeline of ideas across Meta and other paid channels. This means thinking beyond individual ads and building a system for constantly discovering, testing and improving what we say, how we say it and what we make next.

A key part of the role will be understanding why creative works or doesn't work. You'll study performance data, customer behaviour, winning and losing ads, competitors, creators and the wider DTC landscape to identify patterns and develop new creative hypotheses.

You'll turn these insights into hooks, angles, concepts, scripts, briefs and creative directions, and work with UGC creators, designers, photographers and editors to bring them to life.

We're looking for someone who is both creatively sharp and analytically curious. Someone who can look at an ad and immediately start thinking about why it worked, what could make it better and what we should test next.
