Welcome to HouseIQ360 — a shared home service tracker for you and your household. This page covers how to use the app, answers to common questions, and troubleshooting steps.
Setting up your household The first time you open HouseIQ360, you'll be asked to name your household and add your first property. A household can be shared with other people later — you don't need to decide that up front.
Adding appliances and services From the Appliances tab, tap the + to add anything you want to track. If you enter a make/model in the Detail field, it's grouped under Appliances. Leave Detail blank for a general trade like a plumber or electrician, and it's grouped under General Services instead — there's nothing to choose, it's automatic based on whether Detail is filled in.
Adding a provider From an item's page, tap the + next to "Providers" to pick an existing provider or add a new one. You can also manage your full list of providers from the Providers tab.
Current vs. past providers Each item shows every provider who's ever serviced it, plus whichever one is currently assigned — marked with a checkmark. Tapping any provider in that list toggles them as current; tapping the current one again clears it. You don't need a prior service call to set someone as current — useful if you've just switched providers and haven't had them out yet.
Contact info Add phone numbers and emails to a provider from their detail page. Phone numbers are tappable to call directly, and emails open your mail app. You can edit a contact's value or label at any time; to change whether an entry is a phone or email, delete it and add a new one.
From any item's page, tap + next to "Service History" to log a new event. You can record:
Tap any past event to edit it later — useful if you want to add a note after the fact, or you missed something the first time.
