The Findpet Shelter Tag Program gives participating shelters and rescue organizations access to Findpet smart ID tags as an additional layer of pet identification and recovery support.

Findpet can combine multiple identification methods, including:

  1. Microchip registration searchable through the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool.
  2. Findpet smart IDs and tags with a QR code that can open the pet's Findpet profile from a compatible mobile device.
  3. Biometric pet identification tools that can use pet photos and visible characteristics to support photo-based identification and matching.
