To register a pet or create a lost/found pet report in Findpet:

1. Go to Findpet.com or open the Findpet app.
2. Sign in or create a Findpet account.
3. Select Add Pet.

1. Choose the appropriate pet type: Private Pet — for a pet managed through your personal account. Organizational Pet — for a pet associated with your shelter, rescue, or organization. Authorized members of your organization may be able to view and manage these pets, including initiating transfers to new owners. Learn how to create a shelter or rescue account here.

1. If you are adding a shelter or rescue pet, select Organizational Pet.
2. Choose the appropriate report type: Add Pet in Shelter, Lost, or Found. The Add Pet in Shelter option is available to approved shelter and rescue organizations. Learn how to request an organization account here.

1. Enter the pet's information and upload clear, current photos to support identification and biometric matching features.

1. Press the "Submit" button.
