# Huemark Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Huemark is a browser extension for inspecting and organizing visual design information from websites selected by the user.

## Information Huemark processes

When the user activates Huemark on a webpage, the extension processes rendered website content and design-related properties required for its visible features. This can include element styles, typography, colors, spacing, layout information, accessibility properties, image and icon resource references, and the address of resources selected for download.

Huemark also stores user-created boards, saved colors, fonts, assets, notes, interface preferences and panel settings.

## How information is used

This information is used only to provide Huemark’s user-facing design inspection, measurement, collection, export and organization features.

## Local storage

Huemark stores preferences and saved workspace data locally on the user’s device using Chrome storage. Huemark does not operate an account system or a server that receives this workspace data.

Users can remove locally stored Huemark data by deleting boards and saved items in the extension, clearing the extension’s storage, or uninstalling the extension.

## Network requests and downloads

When a user explicitly requests a font lookup or download, Huemark may access Google Fonts or Fontshare resources to locate the requested font file or open the relevant font page. When a user downloads an asset, font or export file, Chrome’s downloads functionality is used to save that file to the user’s device.

Huemark does not execute remotely hosted code.

## Sharing and sale of data

Huemark does not sell user data. Huemark does not share user data with advertising platforms or data brokers and does not use website content or browsing activity for advertising, profiling, lending or creditworthiness decisions.

## Data retention

Locally saved data remains on the user’s device until the user deletes it, clears extension storage or uninstalls Huemark. Huemark does not retain a server-side copy.

## Security

Huemark limits data access to what is needed for its user-facing features. Any network requests initiated for supported font resources use HTTPS where provided by those services.

## Children’s privacy

Huemark is a general-purpose design tool and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

## Changes

If Huemark’s data practices change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before the changed practices are released.
