Because I'd be a hypocrite selling automation while chasing my own leads by hand.

Role: Founder and builder, OpsWithJane
Tools: GoHighLevel, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Gmail
The problem
Most service founders I talk to lose leads in the gap between "interested" and "booked." The form lives in one place, replies in another, and follow-up depends on remembering. I was doing the same thing with my own outreach, so I fixed mine first.

What I built
- A pipeline that mirrors the real journey: New Lead, Replied, Discovery Booked, Proposal Sent, Won, Nurture, Lost.
- Tags and custom fields: Every contact carries its source, ICP type, current tools, biggest bottleneck, and hours they want back. I know who I'm talking to before the first call.
- An intake form: Short on purpose. It asks what they use and what's slowing them down, then sends them straight to my calendar.
- A 15-minute discovery calendar: Buffers, minimum notice, and a connected Google Calendar so it never double-books me.
- Lead capture automation: A form submission creates the contact and opportunity, tags the source, and pings me. A booking moves them to Discovery Booked automatically.
- Reminders that do the chasing: Confirmation, a day-before email and SMS, and an hour-before email and SMS.
- No-show and cancellation recovery: A reschedule email, then an SMS, then a second nudge three days later. Nobody gets lost because life happened.
How it works
A lead fills in the form, lands on my calendar, books, and gets confirmed. Reminders go out without me. If they miss it, the recovery sequence starts on its own. I only show up for the call.
