By default, the Atomic platform handles all outgoing and incoming calls using the E.164 (eg. 61283176200) numbering format. However, you can change this setting:-

  1. on an Account level for Outgoing Calls
  2. on a DID/number level for Incoming Calls

Outgoing Calls

The platform allows users to select what the dial format would be for outgoing calls. You can control this settings over at the Account List > Configuration > Dial Format. There is 2 selections:-

Incoming Calls

When we pass an incoming call to your switch/PBX/device, both the DID number and the callers CLI is passed to your switch/PBX/device in E.164 format. You can, however, change this on a per DID level.

You can change this format:

  1. when you order a new number
  2. when you port a number across
  3. in the Number Inventory page by clicking on the Edit button
