Inspectra is a 3D model viewer that runs entirely on your device. This policy explains, plainly, what that means for your data — because the short version is: we don't collect any.
Inspectra has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no server. The 3D files you open are read from your device, rendered on your device, and never leave it. Nothing about your usage of the app is transmitted to us or to anyone else.
If you're skimming: we don't collect, store, or share any personal data, and we can't — the app has nothing to send it with.
Nothing. Inspectra does not create user accounts, does not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and does not transmit device identifiers, usage patterns, or file contents anywhere. There is no backend for it to send data to.

Inspectra asks for access to the file you choose through the system file browser — the same picker used by Mail, Files, and most other apps — so it can read the model you select (STL, OBJ, PLY, GLB, glTF, or FBX) and display it. That file is read locally by the rendering engine and is never copied off your device.
The app does not access your photos, camera, microphone, contacts, or location, and does not request any permission beyond the file you explicitly choose to open.
Display preferences — things like your preferred background color, lighting, and orbit mode — are saved locally on your device using standard iOS app storage, purely so the app remembers your settings between launches. This information never leaves your device and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.
Any 3D model you open is held in memory only for as long as the app is running and is not written anywhere Inspectra doesn't already have ordinary file access to.
